About the Authors

My friend, Harold Seidelman is the owner of Images Art Gallery, and has made a lifelong passion of studying Inuit sculpture and beliefs.

At the time of the book’s publication, James Turner was a professor of mathematics at McGill University in Montreal

The sculpture featured on the the cover of The Inuit Imagination, Arctic Myth and Sculpture is “Muskox Shaman” by Manasie Akpaliapik, Arctic Bay, 1988
